New contributions of the thesis:

The thesis is a monograph on criminology and crime prevention in Vietnam, studies intensively the theoretical issues on preventing re-offense against the criminal law of juvenile according to function of the People's Police force. The thesis has the following new contributions:

1. Add the arguments for preventing re-offense against the criminal law of juvenile according to function of the People's Police force: system of related concepts; theories of juvenile reoffending criminal law, preventing re-offense against the criminal law of juvenile; the legal basis, feature, principle, contents of preventing juvenile reoffending against the criminal law of the People's Police force;

2. Analysis, clarify the characteristics of reoffending the criminal law of the juvenile, the causes of re-offense of the juvenile, the shortcomings in managing and educating the juvenile;

3. Give the forecasts of reoffending criminal law of the juvenile in the near future, propose solutions to improve the efficiency of preventing the juvenile reoffending criminal law in order to minimize the reoffending criminal law of the juvenile; the thesis is also the research materials in police training institutions.
