Attending the meeting were Colonel Cha Kyungtaek - Head of Planning and Cooperation Department; Senior Lieutenant Colonel Lee Youngdon - Head of Police Science Department; Mr. Na In Chul - Consul and Police Attache, Embassy of Korea in Vietnam and 02 senior KOICA experts working at the PPA.

On behalf of the PPA, there were Lieutenant General, Prof, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem - President of the Academy; Colonel, Assoc, Dr. Nguyen Dac Hoan - Vice President together with leaders of the functional units of the Academy.

At the meeting, Lt. Gen, Prof, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem generally introduced the organizational structure, training model, international cooperation activities, mentioned the close cooperation between PPA of Vietnam and Korean National Police University over the years as well as expressed the expectation of maintaining the exchange of delegations, students, and lecturers; expanding the scope of cooperation by organizing scientific workshops; bilateral talkshow on the training of police in the work of crime prevention and combat; collaboration to develop and publish set of books on characteristics, crime situation between two countries.

Speaking at the meeting, President of Korean National Police University, Mr. Suh Bumsoo expressed his pleasure to visit and work at the Vietnamese PPA. Sharing his views with Lt. Gen, Prof, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, Sen Lt. Gen Bumsoo stressed that Korean National Police University is always ready to enhance cooperation and exchange lecturers and trainees; scientific research activities as well as the idea of coordinating to publish the set of books on characteristics and crime situation between two countries as proposed by Lt. Gen, Prof, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem. In the coming time, Korean National Police University will continue to promote cooperative activities on the basis of good cooperation, which has gained many remarkable results.

Sen Lt. Gen Bumsoo also affirmed that he would continue his strong efforts to promote cooperation with the Vietnamese PPA, not only in the traditional fields, but also in the potential fields and strong points of two sides.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation paid a visit to the Professional Police Library and some other facilities of the PPA.
