People's Police Academy Celebrates Success of 2023 Exchange Student Program

Overview of the Closing Ceremony

The Closing Ceremony was to celebrate a transformative journey experienced by Korean and Vietnamese police students throughout the four-month duration of a 12-credit academic program. Participants had opportunities to engage in a wide array of courses, including the Vietnamese Language (for only Korean students), Comparative Criminal Law, Introduction of Crime Scene Protection and Investigation, Human Trafficking Investigation, Criminal Psychology and Martial Arts for Vietnamese Public Security Force. This comprehensive curriculum provided a deep understanding of both theory and practice in law enforcement, fostering students’ intellectual growth and practical skills.

Besides the main course, students had the unique opportunity to participate in a joint 2-week training course with Thai Police cadets in September 2023. In addition, PPA students took an active role in organizing student-initiated events, such as celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival and Vietnam Women's Day, and local trips. These experiences not only broadened their horizons but also fostered cultural exchange, strengthened international bonds, built lasting friendships, and created unforgettable memories.
