On 21 December 2023, People's Police Academy (PPA) marked the successful completion of the 2023 Exchange Student Program hosted by the PPA with a grand closing ceremony. The event celebrated the achievements of ten police students, including three from the Korean National Police University (KNPU) and seven PPA students who participated in the four-month academic course from 11 September to 22 December 2023. Attended the Ceremony were Maj.Gen. Chu Van Dzung - Vice President of the PPA, representatives of PPA relevant divisions and dedicated lecturers directly involved in teaching the course.

Undertaking the Decision of the Minister of Public Security, the delegation of People’s Police Academy led by Major General, Dr. Chu Van Dung, Vice President, paid a visit to the United Kingdom from 7th to 14th October 2023 and officially signed the Memorandom of Understanding with London Policing College in Police Training and Research Cooperation.

With the approval from the Ministry of Public Security, on September 21, 2023, a delegation of People's Police Academy (PPA) led by Lieutenant General, Dr. Chử Văn Dũng - Vice President of the PPA, attended the 7th General Assembly Annual Meeting (GAAM) of the Association of Police Training Institutions in Asia (APTA), which was held in an online format.

People's Police Academy (PPA) made a significant mark at the Police Academy Student Festival in Asia (PASFA) and the International Undergraduate Conference on Policing (IUCP) held from September 18th to 25th, 2023. This remarkable participation was made possible with the approval of the Ministry of Public Security. The PPA delegation, comprising both lecturers and students, showcased their excellence at these esteemed events hosted by the Korean National Police University (KNPU) in collaboration with member institutions of the Asian Police Training Institutions Association (APTA).

With the aim of resuming the student exchange program between the People’s Police Academy and the Korean National Police University after a disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, The People's Police Academy sent 02 cadets from D46 and 01 cadet from D47 to study as part of the program at the Korean National Police University from August to December of 2022.

From September 12-14, 2022, with approval from leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, 02 representatives of PPA attended the 11th Annual INTERPA Conference with the Theme of “Digitalization of Policing” and 22nd Executive Board Meeting & General Council Meeting hosted by Bangladesh Police Staff College in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with the participation of 116 representatives of 39 countries.

On 31st August 2022, with approval from leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, PPA delegation led by Senior Colonel, Assoc. Prof. Tran Hong Quang - Vice President of PPA attended the 6th General Assembly Annual Meeting (GAAM) of the Association of Police Training Institutions in Asia held online.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 6th International Undergraduate Conference on Policing (the 6th IUCP) was held online for the first time by the Korean National Police Academy (KNPU) and the final round was scheduled on August 28, 2020.

According to the approval from the Ministry of Public Security, on 17th December 2019, the People’s Police Academy of Vietnam (PPA) welcomed the visitation of the delegation from the Korean Central Police Academy (KCPA) led by Senior Inspector Jeon Janghyeon - Director of Field Response Department. On behalf of leaders of the PPA, Major General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang - Vice President of the PPA chaired the meeting along with the attendances from representatives of functional departments.
