The 50-year of history and development of the PPA are always associated with the dedication of generations of lecturers and officers who have been working at the Academy. A large number of the PPA lecturers have becoming the leading researchers and scientists of the nation, making the important contributions to the development of science and policy on social order and security, the guidelines and principles of the Police work and the professional theoretical system of the Police force.

In order to fulfill the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, making the People's Public Security Forces to be standardized, elite and gradually modernized, the Minister required the police training institutions in general and the PPA in particular to continue to thoroughly grasp and drastically implement the solutions to fundamental and comprehensive renovation of education and training.

The Minister also requested that each lecturer, officer of the PPA should be deeply aware of the responsibility as well as the honor and pride of being both a Teacher and a Police Officer, constantly studying to improve knowledge and experience; continue to spread the light of revolution for generations of students in the Public Security force.
