New contributions of the thesis:
1. The thesis is an in-depth and systematic research work on both theoretical and practical aspects of comprehensively preventing crimes violating regulations on the management and use of state-owned assets causing loss and waste in accordance with the functions of the Economic Police force in Vietnam.
2. The thesis has researched and developed awareness of preventing crimes violating regulations on the management and use of state-owned assets causing loss and waste including: concept and characteristics of preventing crimes according to the functions of the Economic Police force; the forces, means and preventive measures; organization of coordination relationships and leadership in preventing crimes violating regulations on the management and use of state-owned assets causing loss and waste according to the functions of the Economic Police force.
3. Based on a survey and accurate assessment of the current situation of preventing crimes violating regulations on the management and use of state-owned assets causing loss and waste by the Economic Police force, the thesis has made comments and assessments of the achievements; limitations, shortcomings and causes of these limitations and shortcomings in crime prevention on a nationwide scale.
4. The thesis has made forecasts about the factors affecting the situation of crimes violating regulations on the management and use of state-owned assets causing loss and waste in Vietnam in the coming years; the development and favorable and unfavorable conditions in prevention are built on a practical and scientific basis.
5. Based on the study of theoretical and practical issues to assess the current state of crime, the thesis proposes five solutions to supplement and improve the effectiveness of preventing crimes violating regulations on the management and use of state-owned assets causing loss and waste.
