President of the PPA gave the speech at the Conference

In the morning of October 4^th, 2019, the opening session of the International Conference on “Experience and tradition in training police forces” was solemnly held at the Volgograd Academy with the participation of nearly 100 delegates from the leading universities of Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Mogilev Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus and the People's Police Academy of the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam. The Conference was divided into four main sessions with the topics relating to police force training.

Speaking at the opening session of the Conference, Major General, Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Huong, President of the PPA emphasized that through the 52 years of development, the Volgograd Academy had proved to be a reputable international training institution, one of leading research and teaching facilities of the Russian Ministry of the Interior Affairs. So far, the Volgograd Academy had supported the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam to train more than 200 officers who are now effectively served the protection of national security, social order and safety in Vietnam.

The PPA President also stated that this working visit of the PPA delegation was one of the important international cooperation activities of the PPA in 2019. He also believed that by the similarities in the police education and training systems of the two training institutions, the two Academies would have many effective cooperative activities in the coming time.

At the Conference, Major General, Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Huong, President of the PPA and Major General, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Ivanovich, President of Volgograd Academy signed the MoU on Cooperation in Training and Scientific Research. The MoU aims to further strengthen the relationship between the two training institutions as well as the two ministries, tighten the solidarity and friendship between the two countries.

Before the opening session of the Conference, Major General, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Ivanovich, President of Volgograd Academy had the meeting with the delegation of the PPA. At the meeting, he highly appreciated the goodwill of the PPA through this visit and expressed the desire to further expand the cooperative relationship with the PPA, Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam. After signing the MoU, the two training institutions will effectively and extensively deploy the specific cooperative activities in the fields of education, training and scientific research.

Marching performance of the Volgograd Academy

In the afternoon of October 4^th, 2019, the PPA delegation attended the formal marching performance to commemorate the 52 years of establishment of the Volgograd Academy at the main square of the Academy.

The PPA delegation also visited the campus of Volgograd Academy, attended the Inauguration ceremony of the Cultural Complex of Volgograd Academy, the Oath ceremony of the first year students and the Brevet ceremony of the fifth year students of Volgograd Academy at Mamayev Hill to finish the successful working visit in the afternoon on October 5^th, 2019.
