During the academic year 2018 - 2019, under the leadership of Ministry of Public Security, the PPA has endeavored to develop all aspects and demonstrated its successes through acknowledgeable achievements.

The PPA has always focused on developing the strength of the Party and improving the competence of staff and teachers. Up to now, there are 6 professors, 38 associated professors, 137 doctors and more than 400 masters currently working at the Academy which made PPA become one of the leading police training institutions for the Public Security Forces. Moreover, the PPA has paid a great attention to widely expand international relations and international cooperation activities with a great number of police training institutions and law enforcement agencies in regional and international level.

The PPA has also reinforced the capacity of scientific researching activities including conducting many scientific researches in national level, organizing meaningful events, scientific conference, dedicating to its knowledge to the theoretical systems and proposing effective solutions in order to strengthen the crime prevention and suppression and social order.

Furthermore, many meaningful activities had been organized in terms of improving the capacity in teaching and studying for teachers, staff and students of the Academy. These activities have provided an active environment in improving the efficiency of training methods and created comprehensive innovations in strengthening the education and training of the Public Security Force.

The infrastructure and facilities of the PPA have been developed significantly, including classroom, dormitories, offices of staff and teachers, a system of specialized classrooms and practicing areas towards modernization in serving the requirement for police training and education of the Academy.

With the significance of above achievements in the academic year 2018-2019, the Government awarded Emulation Flag acknowledged the outstanding contribution of the PPA to the country’s security.

In the academic year 2019 - 2020, the PPA will develop the institution with the direction “Stabilizing organizational structure, strengthening capacity and efficiency of staff, improving the quality and effectiveness of police training and education as practical requirements”. Therefore, the PPA will develop towards modernization and apply the latest advances of the 4.0 industrial revolution into the education and scientific activities of the academy and aim to become the key training institution of the country.

Delivering speech at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc highly appreciated the effort and warmly praised the outstanding achievements of the PPA the academic year 2018-2019. He proposed that the PPA as well as other police training institutions should continue to renovate and improve the quality of education, training to meet the requirements of current situation.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc also stated that in the academic year 2019 - 2020, the PPA needs to continue to thoroughly implementation of the guidelines of the Party, the State, the Central Police Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security on comprehensive renovation of education, training and building of the People's Public Security force; promote the emulation movement "good teaching, good learning, good training, good serving" - focusing on practices associated with training, creative thinking ability and practical application capacity for students; expand the science researchs about new social issues in the region and around the world which are related to the situation of social order and safety in Vietnam. The Academy should focus on investing in infrastructure; applying information technology in teaching, learning, management and administration activities, meeting the requirements of building “Smart PPA”; enhancing international cooperation, joint training with other institutions in the region and around the world.

He also expressed his belief to the development of PPA which received twice of the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces and would have a new successful school year 2019 - 2020.

On behalf of the Directorate Board, Maj.Gen.Prof.Dr. Tran Minh Huong - President of PPA expressed the thankfulness to the guidance of Mr. Deputy Minister. With the motto “Proactive, exemplary, disciplined, responsible, and effective”, PPA would continue to build and develop to become a high quality police training institution in the region as well as a key national institution in the coming time.
