On September 28, 2020, The Standing Committee of the Ministry of Public Security's Youth Union organized the Summation Conference on the Youth Union's and Youth Movement's activities in the school year 2019-2020 and the Implementation of the 2020-2021 Plan.
Overview of the Conference
In attendance were Sr.Col. Ngo Hoai Thu - Deputy Director of Department of Party and Political Affairs, Ministry of Public Security (MPS) attended and chaired the conference; Lt.Col. Dong Duc Vu - Member of the Standing Committee of the MPS's Youth Union Central Committee, Secretary of the MPS's Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet - Member of the Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam National Union of Students. Also at the conference, there were representatives of leadership of the Department of Training - MPS, International Department of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, MPS's training institutions in the North region; participations of secretaries, deputy secretaries, staff in charge of Youth Union's activities in MPS's training institutions.

At the conference, participants were reported the summation information of the activities of Youth Union and Youth movement within police training institutions in the school year 2019 - 2020. The report emphasized the importance of the directions set out by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam National Union of Students contributed to those significant achievements.
The conference drew a great attention from participants and welcomed all contributions during presentations and discussion session. Beside opinions and suggestion to improve the quality of the report, many opinions pointed out limitations and its causes during the implementation of Youth Union's and Youth Movement's activities during 2019 - 2020 and thereby proposed directions and solutions for 2020 - 2021 period.

Addressed the conference, Sr.Col. Ngo Hoai Thu - Deputy Director of the Department of the Party and Political Affairs highly appreciated achievements of the Youth Union's and Youth Movement's activities implemented within MPS's training institution in the school year 2019-2020. Built upon the success of the last period, in the period of 2020-2021, Deputy Director asked the youth of MPS's training institutions promote the Party's ideological and political education to young generation.
The PPA received Emulation Flag from Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee
In recognition of achievements of MPS's training institutions, at the conference, representative of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee presented Emulation Flag to the PPA's Youth Union, Certificates of merit to 25 collectives and 76 individuals for outstanding achievements in Youth Union's and Youth Movement's activities the school year 2019-2020.
Deputy Director presented Certificates of Merit of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee to collectives and individuals for outstanding achievements in Youth Union's and Youth Movement's activities among education institutions in 2019-2020

The Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee also presented 02 Emulation Flags to provincial-level institutions for the PPA and the People's Public Security Academy; 02 grassroots-level Emulation Flags to the Youth Union of People's Public University and the University of Techniques and Logistics of Public Security; and Certificates of Merit for 48 collectives and 116 individuals.
