Attending the ceremony, there were Colonel, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Minh Chat, Vice President of the PPA; Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Bac Tu Liem District; representatives of the functional units, the PPA’s Women's Union, Trade Union and outstanding union members of the PPA. Especially, there were former Secretaries of the PPA’s Youth Union through the period and representatives of the Royal Thai Police Academy studying at the PPA.

Over 48 years of establishment and development of the PPA, the PPA’s Youth Union was constantly reinforced and advanced in all aspects, proud to be the leading unit in the youth movements of the Public Security forces. Generations of the PPA’s Youth Union members has devoted to the career of education and training, the protection of national security as well as the maintaining of social security and order of  the country. Many officials and youth union members of the PPA have been holding important positions in Public Security units in general and in the PPA in particular.

In the academic year 2015 - 2016, grasping closely the motto "Activeness - Discipline - Responsibility - Efficiency" of the Public Security forces; implementing the PPA’s academic year theme, the PPA’s youth have gained the outstanding achievements in all aspects of work. In 2015, there were more than 200 members in the staff block; 39 groups and 1,482 members in the student block to be rewarded. Summarizing the academic year 2014 - 2015: 36/75 youth union members of the staff block gained the title of “Local Emulative Soldier”, 385/684 youth union members of the student block were awarded the title of “Advanced Soldier”. There were about 300 students to be awarded “Good student” title; more than 3,200 union members achieved “Fine Student” title; 06 collectives and 35 individuals in the PPA to be awarded certificates of merit by the Central Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. In particular, at the 60^th anniversary of the Youth Union of Public Security, there were two comrades in the PPA to be honored as the excellent members, in the period from 2011 to 2016 (over 85 comrades of the Public Security forces).

The above-mentioned achievements have contributed to the common achievements of the Academy in recent years, contributing to building the PPA to become key educational centers of the Public Security in 2015 and striving to become key training institution of the country in 2018 set in the Resolution of the 16^th PPA’s Party Congress, tenure from 2015 to 2020.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel, Assoc. Prof, Dr. Tran Minh Chat - Vice President of the PPA stressed: " The PPA’s Youth should try hard to be the leading force; be brave to face with challenges; constantly improve in professional skills; promote the tradition of Vietnamese Youth over time; devote to the revolutionary Cause of the Party and the Nation to deserve as the future generation of heroic Vietnamese people".

On behalf of the PPA’s Youth, Captain. Le Van Tu - Secretary of the PPA’s Youth Union also expressed his gratitude to the great contributions of generations of the PPA’s Youth leaders over times and determined to complete excellently tasks in the coming time. The PPA’s Youth would keep trying, inherit the achievements  of the previous generations, devote to the career of building and defending the Fatherland, help the PPA develop more and more in the future.
