On 4th, April, 2013, the PPA
Steering Committee of Blood Donation Campaign in cooperation with the National
Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, the 19-8 Hospital under the MPS
launched the blood donation campaign with the title “Sentimental blood for
beloved comrades”.
At the launching
ceremony, Colonel, Dr. Tran Minh Chat, Deputy Director of the PPA, officially
launched the blood donation campaign; call on the PPA’s officers, teachers,
staffs and students to respond the campaign. After the ceremony, nearly 20,000
donors at the PPA voluntarily gathered at the sporting event hall to donate
blood, collect thousands units of blood

Since 2010, the
PPA has usually launched the blood donation campaign, mobilized thousands
of turn of blood donator, collected more
4,000 units of blood. It is reported that thousands of volunteers at the PPA
have donated blood for more than 10 times.

Currently, the
PPA become the lead school in blood donation movement in the MPS, specially was
honored at the 2013 Red Spring festival.
