On November 7th 2016, PPA held a ceremony to commend and
reward students winning the "Scientific research students"
competition in 2015-2016 academic year held by PPA and the "Writing
scientific topics of students' competition launched by the Ministry of Public Security.
In response to the "Scientific research students" competition
of the Ministry of Education and Training, in 2015 - 2016 academic year the PPA had 231 scientific
research topics with 696 participants, 175 topics won the Academy level prize,
including 8 first prizes, 52 second prizes, 48 third prizes. From these
topics, the Academy chose 7 topics to attend the "Scientific research
students" competition held by the Ministry of Education and Training. At
the "Writing scientific topics of students' competition launched by the
Ministry of Public Security, the Academy had 8 specialized scientific topics
with participation of 11 students,
through evaluation and review, 5 topics obtained prize.
The "Scientific research students" movement is an annually held
meaningful activity attracting large participation of students throughout the
People's Police Academy. This is not only reflects students’ acquisition of
knowledge, but also helps students consolidate and expand professional
knowledge they have learned and practice independent research thinking,
creativity, forming students with qualities and behaviors of real scientists in
the future.
At the ceremony, PPA also rewarded 7 students with high achievement (2
gold medals, 2 silver medals and 3 bronze medals) in the first Taekwondo Award
for Hanoi Students in 2016.
