Attending the ceremony were the Major General, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of PPA, representatives for leaders, lecturers, students majoring in Chinese language at PPA, University of Language and International Studies - Vietnam National University, Hanoi University and huge number of students, lecturers in the Faculty of foreign languages ​​- PPA.

 gave flowers to congratulate the launching ceremony of Chinese club.

The establishment of Chinese club will create a useful, exciting playground, enhancing exchange opportunities to learn, share experiences, improve knowledge of Chinese language, especially communication skills for students who are interested in Chinese inside and outside the Academy. At the same time, through themed activities students will improve soft skills such as group work, public presentation, technology - information, creative thinking, then to develop their talent and confidence.

 

It is expected that Chinese club will operate periodically once a month under the themes developed and approved as “Master and Disciple Relationship”, “Happiness”, “Lunar New Year”, “People's Police”, “Family”, etc. the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​will also invite well-experienced lecturers from partner units such as the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​- PPA, Department of Chinese Language and Culture - University of Language and International Studies ​​- Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Faculty of Chinese Language - Hanoi University, etc. to exchange and share experiences.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dang Xuan Khang emphasized the 2016 - 2017 academic year is the first year the People's Police Academy deploys enrollment and training of Chinese. This is a major event marking the development of education and training at the school, in line with the current police work. Therefore, the establishment of Chinese club is necessary, proper and timely, actively contributing to improve Chinese learning quality in PPA  in the near future.Vice President asked the Club Executive Board to quickly stabilize organization, proactively make plans for exchange of useful, practical topics, creating a bridge of relationships among students interested in Chinese inside and outside the Academy, and frequently urge them to participate actively and fully in the club so that it works really effectively .

 

Immediately after the launching ceremony of Chinese club, a performance themed "Youth and Dreams" to welcome new students majoring in Chinese language of D42 course - the first Chinese language course in PPA, was taken place. The program presented a comprehensive view to freshmen on Chinese specialty, Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​as well as helped them understand more about PPA, with the desire that freshmen will no longer feel like “a fish out of water” in a new school, new classes, new teachers but feel close to the school where they will learn and practice during 4 upcoming academic years, and with study efforts, they will contribute to developing the academy strongly.
