With a view to celebrating Liberation
of South Vietnam (April 30th), International Workers’ Day (May 1st) and 48
years of establishment of the PPA (May 15th, 1968 - May 15th, 2016 ), on April
28th, 2016, the PPA in collaboration with Hanoi Metropolitan University
organized the sporting and cultural exchange program. This event welcomed
astonishing performances and massive support from the students, especially
those from Hanoi Metropolitan University.
The ceremony was attended by the
Senior Colonel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Chat - Vice President of the PPA;
Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Deputy Rector of Hanoi Metropolitan University and
representatives of the departments and students of the two training
institutions.
The event was the opportunity for
officers, lecturers and students of the two training institutions to convene,
exchange experience, establish relationships in education and training between
the PPA and Hanoi Metropolitan University. Hence, it aimed to promote the
movement “People following the great example of Uncle Ho”, launch and encourage
sports movement among the officeres, lecturers and students, enhance the health
as well as foster relationships in order to effectively serve the educational
and training activities.

Giving the speech at the ceremony,
Senior Colonel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Chat, Vice President of the PPA
expressed his affection to teachers and students of Hanoi Metropolitan
University: “The PPA hopes to tighten the bond between the two training
institutions, to integrate the spirit, the intelligence and the style of Hanoi
Metropolitan University into the PPA. We also look forward to welcoming
teachers and students from Hanoi Metropolitan University to visit the PPA”.
