The People's Police Academy and the Mobile Police Command co-hosted a ceremony to send 400 cadets and officers of the two units to Bac Ninh province in an effort to support the local police in preventing and controlling the COVID-19 pandemic.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Amidst the complicated development of the COVID-19 epidemic in the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security decided to send 100 mobile police officers and soldiers and 300 cadets of the People's Police Academy to Bac Ninh in support of the provincial police in the fight against the pandemic.
Earlier, all of the reinforced cadets and policemen had been equipped with knowledge of the pandemic and preventive measures.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son highly praised the reinforced policemen and cadets for their high sense of responsibility and readiness for work and said that this is also an opportunity for the police cadets to practice their learned skills and gain working experiences.
He also requested them to closely coordinate with the local police.
Deputy Minister Son also asked the reinforced police force to make special effort to successfully fulfill their assigned tasks while strictly following pandemic prevention regulations and other regulations of the Public Security Forces.
At the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son presented flowers to representatives of the mission. He also encourageed the police officers, soldiers and students before they go to the forefront.
