The Evening Gala was attended by representatives of the US Embassy, British Embassy, the Russian Embassy in Hanoi; Korean Cultural Center; Ministry of Security of Laos; Executive Committee of Youth Union of the Ministry of Public Security; representatives of police training institutions; the partners of the PPA. As for the PPA were Major General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the Academy; members of the Party Committee, Board of Director of the Academy; the leaders of functional units and numerous officers, lecturers and students of the PPA.

In this year Evening Gala was held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army, to express the respect and gratefulness to the heroic martyrs and solders who sacrificed for the Cause of building and defending the Fatherland. In addition, the Evening Gala was the good chance for lecturers, officers and students of the PPA as well as of the other training institutions to improve their foreign language skills, learn more about the cultures of different countries in the world, exchanges information and enhance their mutual understanding to fulfill better their duties.

Joining in the atmosphere of celebrating the 70th anniversary of Vietnam People's Army, the officers, lecturers, employees and students of the PPA were joyful to welcome the New Year 2015. The year 2015 is considered to be the significant one with various events of the Party, the Government and the Ministry of Public Security. Particularly, as scheduled, it is the time for the PPA to become the major tertiary education training institution of the Ministry of Public Security. With that spirit, on behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the PPA, Major General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the Academy declared to open the Evening Gala celebrating 70th anniversary of Vietnam People's Army and welcoming New Year 2015.  Major General Dang Xuan Khang also expressed most sincere thanks to the distinguished guests for their participation, especially he highly appreciated the close effective cooperation of international partners for the development of the PPA.

After the opening speech of Vice President of the PPA, the distinguished guests and the audience wallowed in the art space that was diversity of genres, languages and performance styles. Especially, the Vice President of the PPA Major General Dang Xuan Khang expressed his sentiment to all distinguished delegates by singing a song in English for encouraging the movement of cultural activities of the whole Academy. All performance in the Evening Gala were showed by the art teams from the PPA, the People’s Security Academy, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, Academy of Journalism and Communication, University of Mining and Geology, University of Military Culture and Art, the Korean Cultural Center, etc. and especially the students of ForeignLanguages Department of the PPA.
