People’s Police Academy opens high-tech crime prevention faculty

Attending the ceremony were representatives from the leadership of the MPS, the Force Building General Department, the Crime Prevention General Department, the Logistics – Technique General Department under the MPS, leaders of Department of High-tech Crime Prevention, public security offices of northern provinces, the Australian Federal Police Office in Hanoi, leader of the FPT Corporation, Viettel and some units twining with the PPA.

 

As of the PPA included Major General, Prof.Dr Nguyen Xuan Yem, Director of PPA, leaders of departments, faculties, training subjects and centers as well as lecturers teaching at the new faculty and over 300 student, of whom 49 are students learning at the High-tech Crime Prevention Faculty.

At the ceremony, the delegates were listened announcement on establishing the High-tech Crime Prevention Faculty under the PPA, introduced organizational structure, staff, function, as well as faculty’s content, training program, and active direction.

On behalf of leadership of the faculty, colonel, master Nguyen Huy Quang, head of the faculty committed to quality of training for student, meet training require of the MPS and the PPA.

 

On January 25th, 2011, the MPS issued decision 342/QĐ-BCA on establishing the High-tech Crime Prevention Faculty, before being Math-Computer Science Subject.

 

Also at the ceremony, to make initially favourable condition for establishing relationship between tthe High-tech Crime Prevention Faculty and other related units inside and outside the academy in this major, the PPA signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the PPA with the Department of High-tech Crime Prevention under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and the FPT Corporation.

 Sunday, April 03, 2011After decision on establishing the Environment Crime Prevention, MPS’s allowance of establishing the High-tech Crime Prevention Faculty under the PPA and entrusting the PPA with the task of training police for high-tech crime prevention at university degree have affirmed maturity and growing-up in strength of the PPA in process of striving for becoming the national major university.
