The General stressed that the presence of the symbol of Vietnam’s sovereign at the Academy is the affirmation of Vietnam’s sovereignty over its islands and sea and to raise awareness and responsibility on defending national sovereignty on islands and sea among young generation.

Also on this occasion, the Naval High Command decided to confer present campaign medals of “For the cause of defending the national sovereignty over islands and sea” and badges “Truong Sa Soldiers” to all the Academy’s staff.
