The PPA visited, presented gifts to families in preferential treatment policy and donated some works to Quang Nam province and Da Nang city with a total value of 2.5 billion VND.

This is the 10th year the PPA to implement the model of socio-political practice, which is designed for the first year students to carry out “3 togethers” - Eating, living, working togethers with the local people. This effective model has been scaled up in the police training institutes.

The socio-political practice of the courses D42, D29 Laos and the 3rd course of Criminal Justice Specialty took place from July 19^th to August 11^th, 2017.  The PPA’s students implemented “3 togethers” with 400 households in 4 disadvantaged communes of Que Son district, namely Que Cuong, Que Phu, Que Xuan 1, Huong An and Cam Chau ward, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province.

During the period of socio-political practice, the PPA’s students participated in the activities of local authorities and police force, learnt about the socio-economic situation, the work of ensuring the security and order, the local traditions, culture and history; organized many programs of propaganda, dissemination on traffic safety, environmental protection, child sexual abuse prevention, school violence and rural security; held the cultural exchanges, sports exchanges, etc.

The PPA cooperated with sponsors to build 23 houses of gratitude for families in preferential treatment policy in the area of socio-political practice

In addition, the students actively participated in community activities; contribute over 10,000 working days to help the local people repair, build concrete roads, clean rural roads and cultural buildings, schools, martyrs cemetery of the locality; dig the ditches, build the electricity lines, etc.

In particular, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the War Invalids - Martyrs Day (July 27th, 1947 - July 27th, 2017), on the way from Hanoi to Quang Nam, the officers, lecturers and students of the PPA held the thurification to General Vo Nguyen Giap in Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province.

The PPA also organized the candle-lighting ceremony in the martyrs cemeteries in Que Son district, the incense-offering at the Monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mother in Tam Ky city; visited the Historic area of 5^thsecurity zone, Bac Tra My district, Quang Nam province; presented 100 gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother, families in preferential treatment policy, relatives of war invalids, martyrs in the locality.

Performances at the ceremony

On this occasion, the officers and students of the PPA presented many gifts to support the people of Quang Nam province. The PPA donated 200 bicycles for good pupils; co-ordinated with Mai Linh Group to donate 500 helmets to the local people; built the clean water system for Que Cuong Kindergarten; collaborated with Lien Viet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank, Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam and North Asia Commercial Joint - Stock Bank to donate 23 houses of gratitude to the disadvantaged families in Que Son district, Dien Ban district, Hoi An city (Quang Nam province), Hoa Vang district (Da Nang city) with a total value of 2.5 billion VND.

With the gained achievements, 353 officers and students of the PPA were rewarded the Certificates of merit by the local authorities of Que Son district, the Director of Quang Nam Public Security Department and the President of the PPA.
