Participating in the contest, there were 76 drivers from 19 agencies of the General Departments, High Commands, training institutions, units under the Ministry of Public Security. During 2 days, the drivers competed in three parts of the contest, including: theory, practice of driving skills and situation questions.

Lieutenant General Tran Son Ha, Director of Department of Traffic Police delivered the speech

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Lieutenant General Tran Son Ha, Director of Department of Traffic Police stated that to implement the requirements and tasks of ensuring traffic order and safety, each officer in the Public Security force need to be well aware and obey the law, be agood propagandist and good drivers.

The contest is a chance for the professional drivers in Public Security force to exchange experience, improve the driving skills, the ways to handle traffic situations, and promote the propaganda and education on traffic safety and traffic culture, contributing to reducing traffic accidents and traffic jams nationwide.

The PPA won the 3^rd Prize for the entire group and Mr. Khong Ngoc Hoa won an Encouragement Prize for the individual

After two days of exciting and serious competition, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the groups and individuals. The Group prizes included: 01 first prize, 02 second prizes and 02 third prizes. The Individual prizes included: 01 first prize, 02 second prizes, 03 third prizes and 05 encouragementprizes. The PPA was honored to win the 3^rd Prize and Mr. Khong Ngoc Hoa won an Encouragement Prize for the individual.

According to the plan, the Safety Driving Contest for Public Security force in the southern region will be held in early August in Ho Chi Minh City.
