The ceremony had the presence of Major General, Prof. Dr. Bui Minh Giam, Deputy Director General of General Political Department; representatives of Departments of General Political Department, General Department of Police, General Department of Criminal Judgment Enforcement and Judicial Assistance, High Command of Mobile Police; Public Security Departments of provinces and cities; Representatives from the Higher Education Department - Ministry of Education and Training. Attending the ceremony were also Senior Lieutenant Colonel Keo U Don, Deputy Representative Head of the Ministry of Public Security officers of Lao P.D.R in Vietnam.

As for the PPA were Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, Secretary of Party Committee, President of the Academy; members of Party Committee, Board of Directors; representatives of faculties, departments and centers of the Academy.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son worn the rank for the new police officers

After 05 years of study, practice at the PPA, 962 students of the course D38, D25 Laos and D2 Cambodia completed the curriculum with outstanding results: over 94% of students achieved the good and excellent learning results; 100% of students achieved the outcome standards in professional knowledge, soft skills; 100% of students of course D38 completed the training courses on intermediate level of politics before graduation. 440 students won prizes in scientific research contests organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Public Security and the PPA; over 5,000 students were rewarded by the Ministry of Public Security, the PPA and other agencies for their achievements in studying, training and coordinating the fight against crime.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son worn the ranks to top 15 students of the course D38; the Board of Directors of the PPA rewarded 15 students with excellent performance in the course. Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son hoped that the new police officers would continue to improve the professional knowledge and self-improve the political behavior, revolutionary ethics, lifestyle and work capacity to creatively apply into practical work.

On this occasion, the Deputy Minister of Public Security warmly praised and congratulated the excellent achievements of the PPA in actively renovating the method of education in the training form of credit; linking the education and training with reality; standardization of lecturers; strengthening the international cooperation with international organizations, etc. The Deputy Minister believed that the PPA would prove the heroic tradition to further develop and achieve more success, striving to become the national key higher education institution.

On behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the PPA, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the Academy comprehended the guidance of the Deputy Minister. With the tradition of the People's Armed Forces, the PPA would continue to implement creatively the measures for increasingly strong development of the PPA, meeting the requirements and tasks entrusted by the Party, the State and the people.
