On 10th October, 2019, The People’s Police Academy (PPA) solemnly organized the Opening Ceremony of New Academic Year 2019 - 2020 with the attendance of Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

On October 7th, 2019, Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dac Hoan, Vice President of the PPA attended and presided over the opening ceremony of training course on improving the professional skill in patrol, control, and handling of violations for the Traffic Police force according to national experience.

Under the permission of the Ministry of Public Security, from October 3rd to 5th, 2019, the PPA 05-member delegation led by Major General, Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Huong, President of the Academy attended the International Conference on “Experience and tradition in training police forces” to celebrate the 52th anniversary of establishment of the Volgograd Academy and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation in Training and Scientific Research between the PPA and the Volgograd Academy.

On September 17th, 2019, the PPA welcomed and worked with a high-ranking delegation of Sri Lankan National Police led by Mr. Sanjeewa Dharmaratna - Deputy Inspector General of the Sri Lanka Police.

On September 12th, 2019, Mr. Mark Holton, Chief Immigration Officer of UK Immigration Enforcement visited the PPA on the occasion of starting his mission in Vietnam. Major General, Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Huong - President of the PPA presided at the meeting.

On August 30th, 2019, the PPA organized the closing ceremony of the Training course on criminalization of human trafficking and detection, protection of victims of human trafficking crimes. Senior Colonel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Cong Nguyen, Vice President of the PPA presided over the ceremony.

During July 29-August 9, 2019, two students of PPA were selected to participate in the Police Academy Students Festival in Asia (PASFA) 2019 at the Korean National Police University (KNPU).

On the morning of May 25th-26th, 2019, the People’s Police Academy (PPA) cooperated with the Asia Injury Prevention Foundation (AIP Foundation) to propagate traffic safety for 200 pupils at the Tien Phong A Primary School, Me Linh District, Hanoi City and the Vo Liet Primary School, Thanh Chuong District, Nghe An Province.
