On 27th March, 2018, PPA held the opening ceremony of Russian Cultural Hall
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Vadim Vladimirovich Bublikov - Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Vietnam; Natalia Valerievna Shafinskaya - Director of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Hanoi; Vladimir Sergeevich Shushtov - First Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Trung Dung - Head of Communications, Bank for Vietnam Agriculture and Rural Development; Senior Lieutenant Colonel Le Hoai Nam - Deputy Director of Training Department, General Political Department of Public Security; Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, Vice President of the PPA together with leaders of functional units of the Academy.
Over the past years, under the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the coordination of functional units, the PPA has implemented many effective international cooperation activities, in particular cooperation activities with Russian Federation partners such as: Signing memorandum of cooperation with Law enforcement management Institute of the Russian Federation; strengthening cooperation between the PPA and the People’s Friendship University of Russia. In collaboration with the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Vietnam and the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Hanoi organized cultural and art exchanges as well as participated in the Russian Olympic; Welcoming the delegations of the Russian Federation Police to visit and exchange experiences; sent many missions of the Academy to visit and work with the Russian Federation partners.
Recognizing the results of the cooperation, the Board of Directors of the PPA has decided to build a Russian Cultural Hall in the systems of reading room of the PPA library. The reading room will be designed to create conditions for officers, lecturers and learners inside and outside the country to study and understand the culture, country and people of Russian, supporting the friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
