Attending the ceremony were Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA; Senior Colonel, Dr. Can Van Chuc, Deputy Director of the Training Department, the Ministry of Public Security; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Kim Long, Rector of  the University of Education and the trainees of the course.

During the training course, the trainees will research and discuss some special subjects such as: Overview of tertiary education in the worldwide and in Vietnam; theory of teaching skill for tertiary education; process of organization and evaluation in tertiary education; skill of composing lesson plan according to modern teaching methods for tertiary education; experiences in lecturing professional subjects; organization of scientific activities in police training institutions, etc. The PPA and the University of Education will assign full-experienced lecturers to teach pedagogical knowledge for trainees by the way of  combining teaching theory with holding seminars so that the trainees can improve their understandings on researching and teaching skills.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA congratulated the trainees attending the further training course of pedagogical skills in 2013. He also expected that the trainees would promote tradition of police lecturers, obey strictly the rules and regulations in learning process, attempt to get the best result, become good lecturers so as to contribute their talents and knowledge to the cause of training and education of the Police Force in general and the PPA in particular. As for the PPA, Vice President Nguyen Huy Thuat requested functional units of the PPA to create favorable conditions for the trainees during their studying at the PPA.

On behalf of Party Committee and Directorate of the PPA, Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat expressed his sincerely thanks to Leadership Board, functional units and lecturers of the University of Education for their closed and positive cooperation in holding courses on pedagogical skills in recent years. Besides, he hoped that the University of Education would continue to cooperate with the PPA in order to hold more further training courses for officials and lecturers of the police training institutions in the coming time.

On behalf of the Leadership of the University of Education, Prof. Dr. Le Kim Nam, Rector of the University highly appreciated understandings and studying attitude of officials and lecturers of the police training institutions in the previous courses. He also wished that the police officials and lecturers would enhance their self-study, positively exchange with experts, scientists in the field of educational management so that they could comprehend valuable pedagogical knowledge and skills of evaluating educational quality, from there apply effectively in training and educational management in order to improve training and educational quality in police training institutions as well as in the PPA.
