Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Tu, Deputy Director General of General Department of Building up Forces; Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the Academy and Representatives of the functional units. Mr. Iwase Satoshi, the first Secretary of the Japanese Embassy in Hanoi; Mr. Mori Mutsuya, Chief Representative of the JICA; Representatives of the Office National Committee of Traffic Safety and representatives of the People’s Police training centres, Public Security Department of provinces, cities in Northern part of Vietnam.

On this occasion, H.E.NGUYEN XUAN PHUC, Deputy Prime Minister and H.E.General, Prof. Dr. TRAN DAI QUANG, Minister of Public Security sent the flowers for congratulation. 

Officials of the Traffic Safety Research Centre appear at the Ceremony.

The Traffic Safety Research Center of the PPA was established under the Decision No.3079/QĐ-BCA with responsibility for researching the issues relating to traffic safety in the nationwide; proposing policies and methods to reduce congestion and traffic accidents according to functions and duties of the police force; advising and planning out policies and activities relating to science and technology in the field of traffic safety; launching cooperation programs on science and technology; training and enhancing the ability of traffic police force under requirement of the Ministry of Public Security.

At the ceremony, Lieutenant General, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security congratulated the leadership and staffs of the Centre. He also requested that the staffs of the Center had to quickly stabilize their organization; actively cooperate closely with other functional units for researching and finding out the causes and solutions of issues related to traffic safety to timely recommend to the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security for further instructions.

Also at the ceremony, on behalf of the officials of the Traffic Safety Research Center, Lieutenant. Colonel, Dr. Pham Dinh Xinh, Deputy Director of the Center committed quickly to deploy their work, try their best to complete successfully assigned tasks.
