On 22nd
July, 2013, the PPA held the flag Ceremony to open the new school year
2013-2014 and inaugurated the exhibition hall of traditional costumes of ethnic
minority groups in Vietnam. Attending the Ceremony, there were Lieutenant
General, Prof.Dr Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA and the Directorates,
officers, lecturers and students of the Academy.
At the
flag Ceremony, officers, lecturers and students of the Academy were announced annual
report of activities of previous school year and activity direction for the new
school year 2013-2014. In
this year, the PPA honored to be awarded the first-class “Fatherland Defense
Order” by State President of the Socialist Republic Vietnam on the occasion of 45th
founding anniversary of the Academy; also the Prime minister has signed the
decision on promoting General rank level for three senior leaders of the Academy;
the Minister of Public Security approved project building the PPA to become the
key Academy of the Ministry of Public Security and the state; the General
Department of Logistics and Technology equipped for the Academy two electronic
shooting-ranges in new school year 2013-2014.

After the
flag Ceremony, the inaugurating Ceremony on the exhibition hall of traditional costumes of
ethnic minority groups in Vietnam was opened - This is one of the project that aimed to celebrate
45th founding anniversary the PPA (15th May, 1968 – 15th
May, 2013). The exhibition hall is one of the significant projects within
cultural constructions of the Academy. This is cultural space to displaying,
storing, reserving traditional costumes of ethnic minority groups in Vietnam as
well as items expressing culture characteristic and diversity of ethnic
minority groups in Vietnam, which contribute to serve for the demand of
studying and researching national culture of the PPA officers, lecturers and
students.

The leadership representative of functional units presented flowers
and congratulated senior leaders to be
promoted General rank levels
Also,
on 22nd July, 2013, the PPA’s Party committee, Directorates met leaders
of the functional units and mass organizations on the occasion of new school
year 2013 – 2014, in order to congratulate three senior leaders of the Academy who
were promoted rank level of police Lieutenant General and Major General and also
congratulated Colonel, Assco.Prof.Dr Ngo Sy Hien, Vice President of the Academy
to be appointed as the Director of Criminal Forensic Science Department of the
M.P.S.
Tuan Linh
