The Russian Olympic Competition is an annual activity organized by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi with the support and assistance of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam. In this year, the competition attracted hundreds of students from various universities and high schools throughout the country. The training institutions of the armed forces taking part in the competition included: People's Police Academy, People's Security Academy and Military Technical Academy.

The Award Ceremony was attended by Mr. A.Yu.Lavrenev – Director of the Russian Centre for Culture and Science in Hanoi, leaders of Academies, high schools and participants. The students won the first prize of this competition will win a scholarship to study in Russia for 5 years.

The students won the first prizes got the presents

The PPA sent 06 excellent students of the first year to participate in the Russian Olympic. Experiencing the dramatic rounds, they completed perfectly their exams and students Hoang Duc Hung won the first prize.  Being asked the key to achieve high result in the Russian Olympic, Hung replied modestly: “I have no great key at all, living and studying at the PPA is my effort process. So being selected to attend the Russian Olympic is my great honor and I have tried my best to complete the exam in order not to betray the trust of teachers and bring fame to Academy”. Hoang Duc Hung also shared that although receiving the scholarship to study in Russia, he would never forget the PPA, where taught him the first valuable lessons about life and career in future. On May 09^th, 2014, Hung will go on the study tour. Despite many challenges, we all believe that the student of the PPA will pass easily and after 5 years we will welcome a promising young bachelor to serve for the public security force. Wish him achieving great success.
