New contributions of the thesis:

1. The thesis is the first scientific work researching the prevention of theft at office of agency and enterprise according to the function of the Criminal Police force in the Northern provinces. Basising on research results, the thesis contributes to building, supplementing and fulfilling theories about crime prevention and suppression according to the function of the Criminal Police force.

2. The thesis analyzes and clarifies the criminal characteristics of theft at office of agency and enterprise in the Northern provinces from 2010 to 2021; situation of this crime according to the function of the Criminal Police force in the Northern provinces.

3. The thesis makes forecasts about the situation of theft at office of agency and enterprise in the Northern provinces in the coming years. Basing on these forecasts, the thesis proposes 7 groups of solutions to improve the effectiveness of crime prevention of the Criminal Police force in the Northern provinces.

The valuable research results of the thesis can be used in researching, teaching, and compiling textbooks and references in the police training institutions.
