However, it is the first time that I have had chance of applying all these knowledge into use. After this internship course, not only did I make progress of English skill as well as professional work but I also got invaluable life experience.

Hoi An is famous for ancient beauty and hospitable people. Every year, millions of travelers come here to visit and take a rest. After two months of practicing here, I have considerably improved my skill of foreign language by communicating with foreigners. Paying a visit to Thanh Ha pottery village, where attracted to hundreds of foreigner every day, create chance for us to practice English skills. Before coming here, I found some general information about history as well as characteristic of this traditional trade village. As a result, I can become a guide tourist in “Green uniform” to introduce the travelers about this place. Thank to meeting and making conversation with tourists from different countries, I have made remarkable progress in English skills of talking and listening. Now, I become confident of my competence in foreign language.

An interesting trip to Ngu Hanh Son mountain

What’s more, once a week, I went to visit the Hoi An Ancient Town with my friends. Each time, I made friend with different foreigners from all over the world. Besides having fun time, my vocabulary has been enlarged considerably. Thank to this internship course, I have a great chance of applying what I learnt into use. This is a source of inspiration and also refreshes my passion for English!

The public order situation of my practicing location is such a complicating matter due to crowded population with different social backgrounds. During two months of this practice period, I have been assigned to many professional task of the Public Security forces such as taking record of statement of victims or witnesses. Certainly, I gained quite a lot of precious practical knowledge for professional task. It is invaluable experience for my work after graduation. Living in new place really broadened my mind and expanded horizontal knowledge about life.

There are so many things that make me remember about this lovely place, especially the people that I have been living and working with for two months. I presented my deep thanks for enthusiastic local police like Senior Lieutenant. Nguyen Khanh Tuan - my supervisor; such an excellent "master chef" like Lieutenant. Nguyen Duc Tri - a local police, such a kind man like Lieutenant. Phan Xuan Cuong - a criminal police, and a great leader like Major. Vo Tien Trung - Head of the Thanh Ha Ward Public Security.. They are indispensable parts of my unforgettable memories about this course. People here are so hospitable as well as generous!

Thanks to this internship course that I broadened my mind and expanded horizontal knowledge about life. I give my thanks to the leaders of the PPA in general and the teachers of the PPA’s Foreign Language Department in particular for giving me chance of taking this internship course!
