International seminar on “Modern criminal technique and science and their role in work of education and training, crime prevention”

The seminar was held under the chair of Pro. Adrian Liancre, one of the top experts on Criminal Technology of the University of Flinder, Australia.

Participants in the seminar included Major General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Canh, Deputy Director of the PPA, Colonel, Ass.Prof.Dr. Ngo Sy Hien, Head of the Criminal Technique Faculty with over 200 students of courses of D34 and D35 from this faculty and Foreign Language Faculty.

At the seminar, Prof. Adrian gave a useful lecture on modern criminal science, especially, biological examination in criminal technique, whereby he also emphasized important role of training staffs majoring in the Criminal Science.

 

Attending the seminar, student D34 and D35 learned more the role of criminal science in criminal justice; apply it to reality of investigation. Besides, students were also improved their foreign language with many terms of criminal technique.

The seminar provided much new scientific knowledge applying to the Criminal Technique major as well as exchanged understandings and experiences in this major between the University of Flinders, Australia and the PPA, which lay foundation for cooperation and exchanging information on criminal science between two schools in the coming time.

Prof. Adrian Liancre graduated bachelor of biology at the University of Endingburg, recieved Ph.D degree in molecular genetics at the University of Sussex. He is one of the top experts in the field of AND test, criminal technique, and currently, he is a lecturer at the University of Flinders, Australia. His tour to the PPA belongs to schedule of official visit to universities in the Southeast Asian region. In Vietnam, he will visit and work with some universities including the PPA and People’s Police University in HCM city.
