The People’s Police Academy (PPA) has highly focused on the cooperative ties with many countries in the world in the fields of training and research. Those widened ties have given learners opportunities to catch up with the latest scientific information on anti-crime and information technology application of international and regional police force
On November 25th, 2006, the People’s police Academy hosted successfully “The Science Conference of Police Academy’s Directors in Asia-Pacific region” with the theme “Police training prospect in the situation of increasing trans-nation crimes and new crimes in the region and in the world”. The conference was highly appreciated by the participants and it marked the development of the academy in the trend of integration and holly development.
The Academy has cooperated in training with these countries: France, Russia, Belarus, India, Thailand, The Republic of Philippines, China, Singapore, Laos, Cambodia and so on.
In the coming years, basing on the rules of the Ministry of Public Security, the People’s Police Academy has been widening cooperative ties in training with police academies of other countries, which aims to improve capacity and quality in training police staff who can meet the demand on anti-crime in the trend of integration.
