On December 13th, a high-level delegation from Korean national police university (KNPU) led by Kang Guynh Yang, President of the KNPU visited and worked with the PPA. Also at the occasion, the PPA signed memorandum of understanding with the KNPU.

On December 12th, the high-ranking delegation from the Palestinian Ministry of Interior and National Security led by A.A.Abu-Aji Khayria, Palestinian Minister of Interior and National Security visited and worked with the PPA.

On the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the National Day of Laos (December 2nd, 1975 – December 2nd, 2011), on December 2nd, at PPA, the Directorate and leaders of functional units, representatives of women's union, youth, Vietnamese students visited and congratulated the Laos students studying at the PPA.

On the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia (November 9th, 1953 – November 9th, 2011), on November 9th, at PPA, the Directorate and leaders of functional units, representatives of women's union, youth, Laos students and Vietnamese students visited and congratulated the Cambodian students studying at the PPA.

On November 11th, 2011, the PPA formally held the closing ceremony of economic police training course for the Cambodian Ministry of Home.

In the framework of working and teaching in Vietnam, on October 21st, 2011, at the PPA, Dr. Elizabeth M. (Betty) Duke, Senior Lecturer on Leadership, Management and Finance of the Department of Public Policy, University of Maryland (USA) exchanged and shared with topic "Management of public policy and leadership ".

In the framework of international cooperation between the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security and the South African Ministry of Police, from November 2nd-8th, 2011, the high level delegation led by H.E Emannuel He Nkosinathi Mthethwa, the Minister of Police visited and worked with the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security, including the People's Police Academy.

In the framework of the project "Strengthening capacity of training traffic police at the PPA and other police training units in Vietnam" funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA ), a PPA delegation led by Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, Director of PPA attended the 4th Conference of the Asian Transportation Research Society (ATRANS) in Bangkok, Thailand between August 25th-28th, 2011. Accompanying with the delegation is experts from the JICA Office.

Implementing cooperative Agreement on education between the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security and the Laos Ministry of Security in 2011, on September 19th, the PPA held an opening ceremony of the leader further training course for Laos Ministry of Security.

Implementing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on training cooperation between the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security and Mozambique Ministry of Home Affairs, on September 14th, the PPA formally welcomed the Mozambique delegation of Ministry of Home Affair led by Mr. Jose Mandra, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs visiting and working at the PPA.

In a framework of Professional Master’s Degree Program on Criminology and Criminal Justice between the PPA and the University of Maryland, on May 10th, 2011, Director of National Consortium for Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) and lecturer of Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice, University of Maryland, US, Professor Gary Lafree is at the People’s Police Academy, Ha Noi, Viet Nam to give lectures to the Program’s first cohort on CCJS600 Course, which is Criminal Justice System in the U.S.
