According to the
KOICA proposal, on 14th June 2013, the PPA had a meeting with survey
experts delegation led by Mr. Jang Yun Sik, Director of International Cyber
Crime Researching Center, Korea National Police University (KNPU), Mr. Yoon Hee
Seog, the second secretary, police attaché in Hanoi; and Korean high-rank
officials of the KOICA and the representatives from the Korean Embassy in
Vietnam as well.

Under the
framework of cooperation between Vietnam and Korea, from 11th to 13th,
July 2013, the Korean Government appointed a high-rank delegation led by Mr.
Kim Yong Mok, Chairman of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to visit
and work in Vietnam, aiming at checking, appreciating and orienting cooperative
activities and technology support between the two countries. On this occasion, in
order to strengthen cooperative relationship between the PPA and the KOICA, on
13th July 2013, Major General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President
of the Academy and leaders of functional units within the PPA had a paying
courtesy with Chairman Kim Yong Mok.

Under the framework of the cooperative
program between the Ministry of Public Security and the Federal Bureau of
Investigation (FBI), the PPA and the International Cooperation Department - MPS
of Vietnam and the FBI of the USA co-organized a new training course on “Tactics
of testimony” for the investigators at the PPA from 22nd - 26th, July 2013.

In order to strengthen the international cooperation relatrionship
between KOICA office in Hanoi and PPA, on June 6th 2013, KOICA officers
led by Mr. Kim In, resident representative of KOICA Vietnam offered
incense to Uncle Ho temple at Bavi mountain. Also, The KOICA-PPA
delegation held an cultural exchange in the Bavi National Park.

On June 4th, delegation from the Ministry of Interior of the
Republic Mozambique led by Minister Alberto Mondlane visited and worked at the
PPA. Receiving and working with the delegation, there was Major General, Prof.Dr Nguyen Xuan Yem, President
of the PPA; Senior Colonel, Dr Dang Xuan Khang, Deputy President of the PPA, Representative
of leadership of the International Cooperation Department (MPS) and functional departments
within the PPA.

Under
the direction of the PPA’s President, On
31st May 2013, Senior Colonel, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, the Vice President of PPA presented graduated Certificate to two Korean National
Police University’s students studying at PPA.

On 21st May, 2013, the
PPA held the appearing ceremony of the Department of examination and training
quality assurance.

On May 31st, the People police academy (PPA)
held the Closing ceremony on criminal and anti-drug police training course for police
officers of Palestinian Ministry of Interior and National Security.

On 7th
May 2013, at the PPA, Colonel, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Deputy Director of the PPA received and worked with the high-ranking
delegation of Australia Federal Police (AFP) led by Mr. Clive James Murray,
Assistant of Commander of Federal Police, Head of the International Cooperation
Department.

Under the consent of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security,
the PPA’s delegation led by Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, Director
of the People's Police Academy attended to the second meeting of International
Association of Police Academies (INTERPA) at Riyadh Capital of Saudi Arabia
from 14th April 2013 – 17th April 2013.

Security and Director of the PPA welcomed the KOICA’s delegation led by Mr. Kim
In, chief representative of KOICA in Viet Nam to discuss feasibility of the
project “Construction of Electronic Library at the PPA.

As a part of cooperative program between the Vietnamese Ministry of
Public Security and the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as
cooperative schedule of the PPA and the Moscow University, between 20th
to 28th, February 2013, the PPA delegation led by Major General,
Prof.Dr Nguyen Xuan Yem, Director of the PPA visited officially some training
units within the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs to discuss cooperative
measures on police training and scientific research between both sides.

In the framework of international cooperation in the
field of education and training between the People's Police Academy and the
Australian Federal Police, on 28th, March, 2013, with the support
and collaboration of the Office of the Australian Federal Police in Hanoi, the
Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) to the introduction
and presentation of the Australian Government's scholarship program is now
available to all candidates Vietnam, including Vietnamese Police Force in
general, and all of lecturer and students of the PPA in particular.

Within the framework of international
cooperation between the People's Police Academy and the international
consulting agencies and non-governmental organizations related to the training
law enforcement forces, Australia, on 24 January 2013 at the PPA, on behalf of
the Directorate, Major General Prof. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President, also heads of
functional units of the Academy warmly welcomed Mr. Alan McCagh, CEO and general
manager for international cooperation programs in the field of Justice and
Security (Coffey International Development, Australia).
