In 2010, the PPA held an entrance examination of 26th continuous training course upgrading to university for police officials working at the units within the Ministry of Public Security and in the Northern and Central Provinces.

This is the second course which PPA applies the “output training standards” under the new regulation of the PPA. During the training course, although there were many difficulties, the students tried their best to overcome difficulties, striving for training to complete output training standards of political, professional, shooting, driving skills. After three years of studying and training in the PPA, the students successfully completed the course and were granted the graduated Certificate, especially, sixteen of them were honoured to award certificates of merit from the PPA’s President for excellent achievement on studying and managing the class.

As the students are the subjects of in-service ones, the Directorate of the PPA has directed their Faculties and Subjects to actively improve and innovative teaching methods. Along with training specialized knowledge, the Academy focused on the ability to apply their knowledge in practical work. In addition, the Academy also focused on training scientific research methodology, ability to summarize practical issues, self-learning skills to actively enhance students’ ability as well as other “soft skills” such as skill of advice and teamwork…

 At the ceremony, on behalf of the students receiving the graduated Certificate, Tran Anh Tuan, student of investigation specialty, expressed his deep gratitude to the PPA’s Directorate and the lecturers for their dedication in teaching and caring for spiritual life of the students to help them complete their tasks. He also promised that after graduation, they would continuously cultivate moral qualities, lifestyle, always creatively apply the knowledge in practical work, making contribution to ensuring the national security and maintaining social order and safety in the new situation.

To build and develop the Academy as well as encourage the studying spirit of students, the graduated students presented the PPA’s Study Encouragement Fund 20 million VN dongs and 01 computer for academic learning and information searching.
