Representatives of the Youth Union of the PPA’s partners; Representatives of units, mass organizations, the Executive Committee and members of the Youth Union of the Academy were also assisted at this solemn Ceremony.

After listening to the Speech to celebrate the 83^th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union presented by Mr. Vu Van Ninh, Secretary of the Youth Union of the PPA, the youth of the Academy had the chance to talk and exchange with former Secretary of the Youth Union of the Academy such as Mr. Dinh Chi, Mr. Nguyen Hien, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung and Mr. Nguyen Dang Mieng. They were the first leaders of the Youth Union of the PPA; with the lively and enthusiastic spirit of the youth, they were the ones who laid the foundation for the activities of the Youth Union of the Academy, contributed to build the organization of the PPA’s youth to develop.

At the Meeting, the leaders of the Youth Union reviewed the precious experiences and noteworthy memories during the time they participated in the work of the Youth Union at the Academy. The Representatives affirmed that the Youth Union was the good environment to train good officials for our society. By taking part in the organization of the youth, the members of the Youth Union would explore and reveal the good qualities, the sense of responsibility, learn more useful skills for life such as communication skills, solving problems skills, etc. thus, accumulate more experience and become mature in the their work later. Besides the normal required qualities of the leader of the Youth Union, for example, enthusiasm, dynamism, creativity, the Representatives stressed that the leaders of the Youth Union of the PPA should be exemplarity, power and decisiveness.

On behalf of the Party Committee, Board of Directors of the PPA, Major General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA warmly praised the achievements of the Youth Union of the Academy in recent years and thanked for the contribution of former Secretary of the Youth Union of the Academy through many periods for the development of the PPA. He also suggested that the Youth Union’s leaders of the Academy should learn and exchange positively the experiences of previous generations, build actively the programs and plans for the movements of the Youth Union in the direction of development in depth and being associated with professional activities in order to achieve better results, create the healthy environment for the youth to learn and practice.

The Vice President of the PPA also emphasized the complexity of the economic, political and social situation in over the world, in areas as well as in Vietnam. Especially the situation of security and public order in which the crime offenders seemed to be younger, more barbaric and sophisticated crime methods were used, the fast-paced idea was developed, etc. have been significantly affected to the perception and lifestyle of the young generation. Therefore, he asked each youth member of the Academy to attempt to discipline themselves, think twice before any action. “Living and working with the spirit of forever the age of 20” to deserve to be students of the PPA, the Vice President concluded his remark.

On this occasion, Mr. Le Trung Kien, Secretary of Youth Union of General Department of Building up Force presented the Campaign Medals “For the younger generation” to 12 leaders of units within the PPA for their contribution to the work of education and training, fostering the young generation.
