In spite of the
rainy weather, on February 16th, a lot of PPA students were present
at the My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi)
to join in the Red Spring Festival 2014. With many significant activities such
as blood donation, dance, arts performance, the PPA students brought dramatic
impression to the festival.
The Red Spring
Festival is one of the biggest festival of blood donation was held annually in
mid-February by the Institute
of Hematology and Blood
Transfusion. The 7th Red Spring Festival in 2014 opened with a ceremony themed
“Donating Blood, Giving Hopes” attracted more than 20,000 visitors attended and
collected more than 7,000 units of blood. At the festival, not only donating
blood is the main activity, but the other exciting programs were held such as
the Music Gala “Xuan ben em”, street theater, population dance “Ly ngua o”, Spring
Volunteer Camping…
The joy of the police students when
participating in blood donation
Despite the cold
and rainy weather, a lot of PPA students appeared early to join in the
meaningful activities at the Festival. Not only did the students participate in
blood donation activities but they also bring to the Red Spring many special
art performance. The youthful face and fresh green color of the police uniform had
impressed for many people by the enthusiasm, dynamism, and multi-talent of
themselves.

happy to share his blood to the patient.
Sharing their
emotions at the Red Spring, Nguyen Van Thanh, the freshman of the PPA said this
is the first time he participated blood donation at a large-scale program as
the Red Spring. He hopes that his small amount of blood can contribute to
support many patients in need of blood. He added the blood donation this time
become more and more significant when he together with his comrades were
contribute to doing better image of police in the eyes of friends.

As one of
Academy is always actively participate in blood donation activities, every
year, the PPA has provided a large amount of blood in helping thousands of
patients and comrades through programs such as: Red Spring Festival, Red
Sunday, Red Journey, Voluntary Heart Festival... Through these activities help the
PPA students learn how to share difficulties with comrades and patients
suffering from serious diseases, as well as how to make a newer image of police
trainees who are extremely dynamic, closely, friendly, enthusiastic and
talented.
