Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between PPA and Forensic Science Institute - Ministry of Public Security
Major General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA spoke at the Ceremony

The Signing Ceremony was co-chaired by Major General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA; Major General, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngo Sy Hien, Director of Institute of Forensic Science. Senior Colonel, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Can Van Chuc, Deputy Director of Department of Training - MPS; Representatives of some units and lecturers, students of Department of Criminal Forensic Science of the PPA also attended the Ceremony.

 

The MoU was designed to improve efficiency of cooperative relationship between the PPA and the Institute of Forensic Science in the field of criminal forensic science on the basis of functions, duties and jurisdictions of the two sides. Accordingly, the leaders of the two Agencies agreed with three following basic contents of the MoU:

- Cooperation in training;

- Cooperation in scientific research;

- Cooperation in technical equipments.

 

The leaders of the two Agencies witnessed the signature of the MoU 


Speaking at the Ceremony, Major General, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngo Sy Hien, Director of Institute of Forensic Science emphasized close-knit relationship between the PPA and the Forensic Science Institute from its foundation to now and asserted that this MoU would contribute to improving the efficiency of cooperative relationship between the two Agencies in the field of criminal forensic science.

On behalf of the Party and the Directorate of the People’s Police Academy, Major General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA thanked the comprehensive cooperation of the Institute of Forensic Science in recent years. He also requested that the related functional units of the two Agencies should make detail plans and implement the contents of the MoU quickly, effectively and in accordance with the work requirements of each unit in the new situation.
