Attending the opening ceremony were Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, Director of the Academy; Major General Ngo Thai Dung, Director of Drug and Crime Prevention Department; Border Guard Command; Captain Ta Van Tuan, Head of Border Guard Station A Mu Sung, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province together with leaders of the functional units of the Academy.
This is the work commemorating the 50th anniversary of the PPA’s foundation. (15/5/1968 - 15/5/2018), completed with the enthusiastic help of Lieutenant General, Assoc. Prof. Dr Hoang Xuan Chien, member of the Communist Party Central Committee, Border Guards commander - former P.h D students of 2nd course (1997 - 2000) and former graduated students, P.h D students are Border Guards officers with the cooperation and contribution of officers, lectures and students of the Academy.

“Vietnamese Cultural Space” hall is the largest reading room in the reading rooms system of the Le Quan Library building with 12 floors of 500m2, can serve 300 readers at the same time. The rooms are equipped with modern technologies, applying the achievements of science and technology.
The Reading Room was helped by the Museum of Border Guards to design, arrange and display artifacts expressing the typical culture of ethnic groups and regions throughout the country. Thereby, create a close, friendly space for officers, learners.

It can be said that the reading room "Vietnamese Cultural Space" is a beautiful mark in the cultural works of the PPA, which is a space that contributes to the cultural and artistic values, identities of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.

Looking
forward to the event celebrating the 50th anniversary of the PPA’s
