This is a festival organized by Vietnam-France Friendship Association in cooperation with the French Embassy in Hanoi, in the chain of activities to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-France diplomatic relations (12/04/1973 - 12/04/2018), to introduce French culture through music and language to people, especially young people, to further strengthen the friendship between the two countries.

This year's festival attracts the participation of students from the institutes and universities in Hanoi such as the People's Police Academy, International French Institute (IFI), Hanoi University, Hanoi Medical University, Doan Thi Diem and Chu Van An secondary schools... with many interesting dance and song performances.

Mr. Piere Yves Turellier, Education Envoy, Director of the French Cultural Center said: "We are here today at the French Cultural Center - the House of Culture and of the friendship to enjoy the French songs performed by young Vietnamese. French music is not just an art of telling life stories but also a messenger of culture. The idea of this contest is very useful because this is the bridge that strengthens the bonds between the young generation of France and Vietnam".

This event is also designed to create an environment for Francophone students to exchange, share, and express their unique personalities, special style of the youth of Vietnam through the diversity in French culture.
