Youths from People's Police Academy carry out social activities in border

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the student hostel project at the secondary school branch in Long Phieng Commune.

Speaking at the meeting with local officials, border guards and people, Rector of the People's Police Academy Major General Nguyen Dac Hoan Prof., Dr., said, “The program is an activity of practical significance, promoting the spirit of voluntarism and love of young police officers and police cadets for people and soldiers performing their duties in border areas and islands.” 

Major General Nguyen Dac Hoan and Senior Colonel Dinh Cong Thanh hand over the hostel to leaders of the school branch.

The program also helped strengthen a close relationship between the academy and the armed forces and people in the border areas. During the visit to a secondary school branch in Long Phieng commune (Yen Chau, Son La), the delegation handed over a student hostel funded by the academy and presented 10 bunk beds, a full bookcase, a computer set, 20 sets of ao dai to the school while offering 40 gift packs, 20 cartons of milk, 13 boxes of confectionery and 100 boxes of instant noodles to disadvantaged families with children with good school records. The total value of the gifts mounted to over 300 million VND.
