New contributions of the thesis:

1. The thesis is the first scientific work that researches and evaluates in a systematic and relatively comprehensive way in both theory and practice on the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the state management of crime prevention and suppression. The thesis forms concepts, characteristics, general political bases, legal bases, and identifies the contents and measures of activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in participating in state management of prevention and suppression. These are theoretical issues that have never been mentioned by any scientific works before.

2. The thesis clearly states the relevant situation and the current status of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's participation in state management of crime prevention and suppression from 2011 to the end of June 2020; then summarizes the achieved results, points out the limitations, shortcomings and its causes. The thesis analyzes the modes of operation and typical models of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in participating in state management of crime prevention and suppression to introduce and develop nationwide.

3. The thesis predictes a number of new issues related to the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The thesis also proposes systematic, comprehensive and feasible solutions to improve the performance of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in participating in the state management of crime prevention and suppression in the coming time.
