1. This is the first thesis that studies systematically on researching and using personal characteristics of the accused in investigating crimes related to corruption.

2. This thesis comprehensively researches, reviews, and commentaries the theoretical issues regarding to personal status, personal characteristics of offenders, as well as theory in researching and using such characteristics in investigating crimes related to corruption.

3. Through surveys on the status of researching and using personal characteristics of the accused in investigating crimes related to corruption, this thesis points out the advantages, disadvantages, limitations and what caused such limitations under the side of Investigation police force on crimes related to corruption in researching and using the personal characteristics of the accused in investigating crimes related to corruption. The forecasts and authentication that are given within this thesis can be used as the basis for the author to build up solutions aiming to improve the efficiency in researching and using the personal characteristics of the accused in investigating this form of crimes.

4. The result of this thesis supplements, gradually improves and enriches the theoretical system in researching and using personal characteristics of the accused in investigating crimes in general and in investigating crimes related to corruption in particular. Specially, the actual experiences that are summed up and evaluated as well as the provided solutions within this thesis can help the Investigation police force on corruption crimes to conduct researching and using the personal characteristics of offenders in their practices in the most effective way; avoid the mistakes that may occur during the course of investigation.
