New contributions of the thesis:

- The thesis has built, supplemented and enriched some basically theoretical issues on stripe and research of stripe traces in criminal investigation complying with Vietnam law such as tripe concepts, stripe traces, research of stripe traces, stripe bases and relationship among forces in research of stripe traces. In addition, the thesis has mentioned contents, procedures of conducting research of stripe traces in criminal investigation, legal bases, subjects for research, methods and means of research of stripe traces in criminal investigation as well.

- Conducted surveys and assessments of the current reality of research of stripe traces in criminal investigation of Criminal technician forces to clarify obtained results, shortcomings, limitations and their causes of research of stripe traces in criminal investigation.

- The thesis has carried out predictions of effects on research of stripe traces in future time.

- Pursuant to the researched theorical system and associated with surveys of the reality of research of stripe traces in criminal investigation and predictions  of effecting factors, the thesis has proposed 06 potential  of the criminal technician force in the future time. Among them, the thesis has emphasized methods of supplementing workforces, training and improving kills for the subject of research of stripe traces. Especially, it’s necessary to promote international cooperation in scientific research, transfer of technological applications in research of stripe traces.
