New contributions of the thesis:
1. The thesis provides a number of theoretical issues about preventing crime of fraudulent appropriation of property according to the function of the Economic Police force such as: concepts and characteristics of activities to prevent crime of fraudulent appropriation of property.  At the same time, the thesis also points out the content and specific preventive measures for this type of crime.

2. The thesis examines, analyzes and points out the criminal characteristics of fraudulent appropriation of property such as crime situation; personal characteristics of the offenders; method characteristics and tricks of criminals; causes and conditions of fraudulent appropriation of property, etc.

3. The thesis evaluates objectively the activities of preventing crime of fraudulent appropriation of property according to the function of the Economic Police force, commenting and evaluating the achieved results, limitations and shortcomings, as well as the cause of the limitations and shortcomings in this activity over time, as a basis for suggestions and solutions.

4. The thesis provides scientific forecasts on issues relating to the operation of fraudulent appropriation of property have been issued. Some systematic, comprehensive and feasible solutions are proposed to improve the quality of activities to prevent crime of fraudulent appropriation of property under the function of the Economic Police force.
