New contributions of the thesis:

1. The thesis is the first scientific work which comprehensively and systematically studies basic investigation on multi-level marketing field of the Police in charge of investigating economic crimes. This approach is consistent with the change of focus from area to field in the basic investigation of the Ministry of Public Security.

2. The thesis builds, supplements, and contributes to the development of theories on basic investigation on multi-level marketing field of the Police in charge of investigating economic crimes, including the concept, characteristics, contents and methods of implementation, leadership and coordination of the Police in charge of investigating economic crimes.

3. The thesis summarizes the reality of conducting basic investigation on multi-level marketing field of the Police in charge of investigating economic crimes from 2010 to 2020. In addition, the thesis highlights the achievements, states different shortcomings and limitations as well as points out a number of causes.

4. The thesis provides forecasts and a system of six scientific and feasible solutions in order to improve the effectiveness of basic investigation on multi-level marketing field of the Police in charge of investigating economic crimes in the coming time.
