1. The thesis is the first scientific research which is relatively systematic and comprehensive in terms of criminology for the receipt and settlement of denunciations and reports on crimes within jurisdiction of the Criminal Investigation Agency in the People’s Army; contributing to supplementing and completing theoretical system of crime prevention and fighting by the Criminal Investigation Agency in the People’s Army.

2. The thesis has developed basic rationale for the receipt and settlement of denunciations and reports on crimes within jurisdiction of the Criminal Investigation Agency in the People’s Army, given new concepts, generalized related characteristics and assigned basic tasks and functions of the Criminal Investigation Agency in the People’s Army, clarify defined procedures for the receipt and settlement of denunciations and reports on crimes within jurisdiction of the Criminal Investigation Agency in the People’s Army.

3. The thesis has examined, gathered and clarified real situation of the receipt and settlement of denunciations and reports on crimes within jurisdiction of the Criminal Investigation Agency in the People’s Army from 2005 to June 2015. It has reviewed and given comments on the obtained results, limitations, shortcoming and pointed out the cause of such limitations and shortcomings in the receipt and settlement of denunciations and reports on crimes within jurisdiction of the Criminal Investigation Agency in the People’s Army.

4. From summarized issues, theoretical and practical analysis, the thesis has predicted the crime situation and factors affecting the receipt and settlement of denunciations and reports on crimes within jurisdiction of the Criminal Investigation Agency in the People’s Army. The thesis has developed feasible solutions to improve efficiency of the receipt and settlement of denunciations and reports on crimes within jurisdiction of the Criminal Investigation Agency in the People’s Army to meet requirements of service in new situation, contributing to effectively maintaining political security and social order and safety.

5. The thesis content can be used for research and teaching in People’s Police, People’s Army Schools; facilitating stakeholders to consult and apply into practice and crime preventions fighting.
