This thesis is the first work carrying out research to provide a comprehensive solution, having theoretical, practical systems for inspection of assets embezzlement cases in construction by functions of economic police forces of South-eastern provinces. It demonstrates the following issues:

1. New theoretical points

Concepts, characteristics of inspection activities of assets embezzlement cases in construction, contents of inspection activities, subject, coordinative relations and directions in inspection of construction assets embezzlement cases

2. New practical points

- The thesis shows the current criminal state and features of construction assets embezzlement crimes in South-eastern provinces.

- The thesis surveys, comprehensively and accurately evaluate the current state of inspection of construction assets embezzlement cases in South-eastern provinces by economic police force in recent time, thereby concluding results achieved, limits, difficulties, problems and causes.

- The thesis also brings forward estimates and proposes scientific and feasible solution to spread achievements, overcome existing problems so as to enhance effectiveness of inspection of assets embezzlement cases in construction in South-eastern provinces.
