This dissertation is the first doctorate - level- research work on reconnaissance professional activities of the Environmental Police Department in preventing the violation of regulations on protecting animals within the lists of rare and valuable animals needing to be protected in priority. The result of dissertation research has clarified the issues as follows:

- This dissertation has established the deductive system on Environmental Police Force’s reconnaissance professional activities in preventing the violation of regulations on protecting animals within the lists of rare and valuable animals needing to be protected in priority.

- This dissertation has analyzed and clarified the organizational status of the Environment Police Force and real position of the Environmental Police Force’s reconnaissance professional activities in preventing the violation of regulations on protecting animals within the lists of rare and valuable animals needing to be protected in priority in Vietnam. Remarks and assessments on the attained achievements, shortcomings as well as their reasons in such activities during the past times shall be based for proposals and solutions.

- This dissertation has given the scientific forecast and suggests the systematically, comprehensively and feasibly solutions in order to enhance the quality of the Environmental Police Force’s reconnaissance professional activities in preventing the violation of regulations on protecting animals within the lists of rare and valuable animals needing to be protected in priority in Vietnam.
