New contributions of the thesis:

1.     The thesis takes part in improving theoretical knowledge of building the movement of defending the national security by the whole people as well as  systematizes the theoretical issues of the movement of defending the national security by the whole people and analyzes them. It also clarifies the roles and characteristics of the movement of defending the national security by the whole people.

2.     Systematically and comprehensively evaluating the actual situation of building the movement of defending the national security by the whole people of the Public Security of Da Nang city from 2006 to 2016. The thesis analyzes the achieved results. It also clarifies advantages as well as limitations, shortcomings and especially, cause of limitations and shortcomings in activities of building the movement of defending the national security by the whole people in Da Nang city.

3.     Providing scientific forecasts on evolution of the economics, politics, culture, society and other relevant situations. The thesis focuses on seven solutions which can improve operational efficiency of building the movement of defending the national security by the whole people of Public Security of Da Nang city in the coming time.
