A Delegation of Ministry of Public Security attended the 8th ASEANAPOL Training Cooperation Meeting (APTCM) in Singapore
The overview of opening ceremony

The 8th ASEANAPOL Training Cooperation Meeting hosted by Training Command – Singapore Police Force. The two days meeting were attended by all 10 ASEANAPOL Member Countries, 4 Dialogue Partners, 3 Observers and the ASEANAPOL Secretariat. At the meeting, delegates presented their annual training progress, challenges encountered and future plans to enhance training cooperation. The Dialogue Partners and Observers also reiterate their commitment and willingness to cooperate with Member Countries in the field of training and capacity building. Some delegations shared information about some training courses will be organized in coming year and welcomed other member countries to send participants.

Attending the meeting, Vietnamese Delegation shared the results achieved in international police training cooperation, introduced about the police training innovation of the People’s Police Academy as well as analyzed the challenges for police training in the new context then proposed some recommendation to enhance the cooperation among ASEANAPOL members such as: Developing Mutual Training Standards, Enhancing ToT training, Developing E-learning program, Considering the capacity of establishing ASEANAPOL Training Taskforce or center etc. The recommendation given by Vietnamese delegation had been appreciated by ASEANAPOL Secretariat Mr. Chairman and participants.
